He was predeceased by: his parents, Nemesio Torres and Irma Nelida Viera; and his brother Roberto Torres. He is survived by: his children, Richard Joe Torres (Mayra) of Greenville, NC, Robert Lee Torres (MaElena) of Kissimmee, David Allen Torres (Elizabeth), Catherine Esther Alvarez (Hector) and Vanessa Lee Torres (Yatish); his grandchildren, Richard Joe Torres, Jr., Jessica Marie Torres, Jennifer Ivette Torres, Natasha Noelie Torres, Naisha Irma Torres, Myra Luna Torres, Robert Lee Torres, Jr., Monica Nichole Torres, Brandon Lee Torres, Layla Love Torres, Gabriel Adrian Torres, Christopher William Alvarez, Justin William Alvarez, Matthew William Alvarez, Izayah Yatish Patel, Yesenia Liz Torres, Yanira Marie Torres, Yasmin Elaine Torres, Joshua Divad Torres, Jorge Luis Rodriguez, Edwin Miguel Rodriguez, Lizbeth Marie Rodriguez, Reinaldo Martinez and Alexander Martinez; and his siblings, Nemesio Torres and Esther Torres. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
