He is survived by: his wife Carmen; his children, Rose Lacend-May, Sandra Lacend, Jose Lacend Jr. and Micheal Lacend; and his stepchildren, Yazmin Augusto and Aldrin Cuevas.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Porta Coeli Funeral Home (2801 E Osceola Pkwy, Kissimmee, FL 34743). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery (1717 Old Boggy Creek Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34744).
