He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Benton and Allie Fredonia Benton (Taylor). He is survived by: his wife Mary Benton (Viehman) of Kissimmee, Florida.; his daughters, Andrea Beth Pechin (Donald) of Clermont and Christina Ash (Matthew) of Kissimmee, Florida.; and his grandchildren, Ella Bailey Pechin, Donald William Pechin IV, Mason Taylor Ash and Connor Joseph Ash.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Services (511 W Emmett St, Kissimmee, FL 34741). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of St. Cloud (1000 Ohio Ave, St Cloud, FL 34769).
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance for colon cancer research, the SPCA, or the Lions Club for eyeglass donations for those in need.
