She is survived by: her husband Augusto Miranda (Gus); her siblings, Roberto Bacani (Mary Elizabeth) and Milagros Cabagnot (Mimi); her children, Marla Mooney, Karen Avis, Alan Miranda, Teena Thornton, Pat Mooney, Mike Avis and Dave Thornton; her grandchildren, Patrick Mooney II (Sydney), Brendan Mooney, Sean Mooney, Alexandra Ragon (Carmine), Miranda Mooney, Kathleen Mooney, Rachel Thornton, Aaron Avis, James Mooney, Teresa Thornton, Samantha Avis and Anthony Avis; and her great grandchildren, Ezra Mooney and Sophia Mooney.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lyda's memory to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
