He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Odeil and Nellie Bryant (Rees). He is survived by: his wife Patti Nell (Mattox); and his children, Sara Jo Dusterhoft (Bruce), William Rees Bryant (Neva), David Mattox Bryant (Marcia) and Rebecca Layne Howard (Roland). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
