“I was saddened today to learn of Ruben's death. My name is Bill Ritchie, and I am a retired Deputy Chief with MPDC. Reuben was one of my best detectives when I was the homicide commander from January 1988 to January 1990 and chief of detectives when he retired during August of 1993. He was a "character" and was always pleasant to be around. He loved working in homicide and was an excellent investigator. My condolence to his family.”
