He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Manuel Rios and Maria Valentin; his wife Virginia Rivera; his children, Marisol, Ricardo, Raquel and Emanuel; his grandchildren, Melinda, Gilbert Jr., Matthew, Jonathan, Victoria, Noah, Lucas, Eliana, Isabela and Benicio; his great grandchildren, Landon, Noel, Olivia and Gaby III; and his siblings, Juan and Josefina.
