He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Handy and Louise Handy (Menard); his daughter Christal Rae Handy; and his siblings, Peter Handy, Theresa Gamache and Elizabeth Finnegan.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Handy; his children, Peter Thomas Handy of Burlington, Vermont, Marsha Callahan of Burlington and Tracy Garland of Kissimmee, Florida; his grandchildren, Camden Abreu of Davenport, Ryan Marsh, Hunter Jenkins of Kissimmee, Florida, Alexis Handy of Deltona, Logan Lafferty and Tya Sears of Burlington, Vermont; his great grandchildren, Camdyn of North Carolina and Watson of Florida; his siblings, Anita Aguiar, Priscilla Brassard (Arnold), Bernadette Caffrey (Jim), Mary Farrell, Joseph Handy, Raymond Handy and Michael Handy; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Holmes, John Coyne and Janice Coyne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
