He is survived by: his wife Karen Engel (Kuzniar); his children, Chris Engel (Jason) of Canton, Joshua Engel (Sierra) of Peoria and Angela Gilchrist of Chillicothe, Illinois; his grandchildren, Tyler (Nikki), Gavin, Collin, Charley, Katsumi, Caitlyn and Myka; his great grandchild Ezra; his sisters, Jeanette Slama of Peoria, Kathy Ziegenhorn (Steve) of Morton, Elaine Melone (Pat) of Mount Prospect and Yvonne Ham (Bob) of Elmwood, Illinois.; and his aunts, Ester Mcdonald (Bill) of Peoria, Ruth Schoolman (Bill) of Peoria, Claudia Geist (Otto) of Peoria and Lorraine Gass (Jim) of Chillicothe, Illinois.. He is also survived by cousins on both sides of his family and has been adopted by.
