He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Hoerner and Elsa Mae Hoerner; and his brother Merlin "Boogie" Hoerner. He is survived by: his son Denis Hoerner (Patrick Welsh); his brother Jack Hoerner; and his former wife Paula Maggiore.
