He was predeceased by: his parents, David Tenenbaum and Lillian Tenenbaum. He is survived by: his wife Patty D. Tenenbaum; his children, Deborah Hayes, David Tenenbaum (Amy Tenenbaum) and Jason Tenenbaum (Laurie Muzyka-Tenenbaum); his grandchildren, Joel Rainwater, Austin Hayes, Dalton Hayes, Amanda Spadafora, Ryan Tenenbaum, Carlie Tenenbaum, Jacob Tenenbaum, Patrick Muzyka, Maya Muzyka and Nathaniel Muzyka; and his great grandchildren, Thea Uy, Avery Hayes and Jack Ellis Hayes.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Temple Shalom Rabbi Zev Discretionary Fund.
