It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Frederick Smith (Lady Lake, Florida), who passed away on March 19, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Kathryn Smith (Adamson) and Frederick F. Smith; his brother John Patrick Smith (Priscilla); and his sisters-in-law, Priscilla Smith and Lori Otten.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Long of Westminster, Colorado; his children, Carl Kelly Smith, Sean Michael Smith and Jeanine Marie Sanchez (Arturo Pepe); his stepchildren, Staci Van Veldhuizen (Jeff) and Brett Long; his grandchildren, Tommy and Peyton Sanchez; his stepgrandchildren, Adam Van Veldhuizen (Emily), Alyssa Mulder (Jackson), Shawnae Van Veldhuizen, Austin Van Veldhuizen, Jacob Van Veldhuizen and Shaylyn Van Veldhuizen; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Kjerstyn Mulder and Addilynn Van Veldhuizen; his brother Dennis Michael Smith (Cindy); and his brother-in-law Gary Oehlerts (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
