He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel and MaryAnn Lucia. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his sisters, Gail Vanech and Diana Herold; his nephews, Steven, Shawn and Justin; his niece Cherie; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Courtney, Juliana, Evie, Nevaeh, Martin, Cooper, Case and Ethan. He is also survived by his aunts and uncle and numerous cousins.
