She was predeceased by: her parents, Gail Whitaker Kaaz and Fredrick W. Kaaz; her husband Donald Rex Ross; her brother Fredrick W. Kaaz, Jr.; her granddaughter Angela Denee Haller; and her son Rick Alan Ross.

She is survived by: her children, Danita Diane Ross, Douglas Michael Ross (Margaret), Stephen Patrick Ross (Melissa), Susan Jeanine RossKyde, John Donald Ross (Kim) and Anna Marie Ross (John Ramsey); her daughter-in-law Debbie Slifer Reynolds; her grandchildren, Michelle Anne Haller, Joshua Alan Ross (Michelle), Erin Marie Ross, Michael Conan Ross (Maria), Jessica Ross Yonker (Jeff), Cameron Douglas Ross, Patrick Donald Ross (Rebekah), Benjamin Dean Ross (Mary), Sarah Lauren Sharpless (Robert), Samuel Foster Ross and Hannah Elizabeth Schmaltz (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Emma Jo Ross (Colton Sewell), Nicholas Fulton Ross (Carly), Cortland Butler Ross (Madelyn), Payton Grace Ross, Riley Nicole Silveira, Elijah Noble Silveira, Nixon Aaron Morris, Dash Mastrangelo Chavez, Sloan Jameson Ross, Blair Olivia Ross, Athena Marie Ross, Juliette Rebekah Schmaltz and Kellan Jonas Schmaltz; and her great great grandchild Maisie Lou Sewell. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
