He was predeceased by: his father John Murphy. He is survived by: his spouse Melodee; his children, Benjamin Murphy (Kayla), Amanda Vandeville Jr. (Tim) and Amber Powell (Andy); his grandchildren, Joel, Isaiah, Hudson, Tyson, Olivia, Harper, Rylee and David; his mother Jean Murphy; and his siblings, Jerry Murphy (Polly), Susan Michalos (Perry), Larry Murphy (Shasteen), Julie Juranek (Michael) and Paul Murphy (Angel).
In honoring his legacy the family has asked for donations to the family so that a memorial tree will be purchased and placed at the County Park that he cherished.
