He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacinto Tan and Felisa Tan; and his siblings, Pauline Tan, Susan Rendano, Nestor Tan and Samuel Tan.
He is survived by: his wife Gwynne Tan; his children, Roland Tan Jr. (Dervilla), David Tan (DJ) and Lisa Tan; his grandchildren, Amanda Young and Kendall Tan; his great grandchild Ruby Young; and his sister Myrna Trinidad. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
