He is survived by: his children, Michael "Kevin" Sands (Robin) of Wildwood and Mandy Sands Strickland of Summerfield; his grandchildren, Austin Littles, Haley Boone, Summer Willman and Autumn Sullivan; his great grandchildren, Blaine, Harlow, Luke, Raylee, Haven and Hampton; and his friend Michael Gaydosh Sr..
