She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Sargis and Mary Sargis; and her husband Walter. She is survived by: her children, Walter E. Rival Jr., Christina M. Rival (Robbins) and Debra A. Rival (Perazzella); and her grandchildren, Rachel A. Rival (Mann), James Perazzella Jr., Ryan Perazzella and Livia Robbins. She is also survived by her extended family and many dear friends.
