It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Smiley of Lady Lake, Florida, born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father James Smiley; his wife Mona Smiley; his son Warren Smiley (Zofia DiLaurenzio); and his brothers, James, Donald and Malcom.

He is survived by : his son David Smiley (Jennifer Morenus) of Dubuque; and his sister Ellen Merritt (British Columbia) of Penticton.
