He was predeceased by : his parents, William Conner and Hattie Bridges Conner; and his brothers, Glenn Conner, James Conner, Clifford Conner, Jerry Conner and Billy Conner.

He is survived by : his daughters, Jan Elling of Wisconsin and Amanda Smith of St. Louis, MO; and his siblings, Gail Conner Harrison, Betty Dukes, Hugh Conner, Ray Conner and Wayne Conner.
