He was predeceased by: his parents, L. V. Waters and Georgia Waters; his sons, Dennis Waters and Curtis Waters, Sr.; his grandson Curtis Waters, Jr.; and his siblings, Earl Waters, Alvin Waters, Eloise Monds, Mary Jane Waters, Joan McDonald and Correne Stringer.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Waters; his son Robert "Bobby" Waters, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Robert Chad Waters (Rachel), Deanna Michelle Merritt (Zed), John Adam Waters (Chelsey) and Robert David Waters-Ostrander (Brittany). He is also survived by his many great-grandchildren, foster children, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (14970 W State Rd 238, Lake Butler, FL 32054). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (10888 NW 87th Pl, Lake Butler, FL 32054).
