He was predeceased by: his former wife Evelyn; his siblings, David Spivey, Marjorie Wade, Margaret Gwynn and Marie Gregory; and his stepson Jimmy Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Spivey; his daughters, Teresa Dowling (Dennis) and Lisa Spivey Hattaway (Travis); his siblings, Paul Spivey, Don Spivey (Debbie), John Spivey (Mary) and Kay Simpson (Jim); his grandchildren, Zach Dowling (Lindsey), Kelsey Norman (Blaine) and Brody Brooker; his stepsons, Clayton Clark, Johnny Clark and Dane Clark; and his pet Rusty. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, twelve step-grandchildren, and twenty-two step-great-grandchildren.
