“I just learned that I lost a very good friend. Carol and I worked together in Tampa for a number of years before she moved to Lake City. She called me from the VA hospital on June 3 to let me know that they were doing tests and that they thought she had liver cancer. On June 6, she texted to let me know she was home and also that she wanted to fight the cancer. I texted her back with a suggestion. Now, I see that she passed away just 5 days later. She was one tough lady!”
