With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Caroline Scott of Lake City, Florida, born in Brooklyn, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2026 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurlow Smith and Cleadie Hubbard Smith; her daughter Kim Harvey; and her siblings, Clarence Smith, Jackie Collins, Catherine Forrestor, Mag Scrougans and Pauline Collins.
She is survived by: her husband Herman L. Scott of Lake City; her brother James Smith (Joanie) of Martinsville, IN; her grandchildren, Josie and Mikie; and her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Asher and Brody. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
