With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Mary Baker (Lake City, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 2, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Finn and Matilda Josephwitch Finn; her husband Edward A. Baker; her children, James Edward Baker, Edward James Baker and Kim Mary Baker; and her siblings, Michael Finn, Muriel Finn Esser and Dorothy Finn LaBreque.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Baker Castro of Lake City, FL and Cindy M. Baker Pentheros of Lake City, FL. She is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
