Griffith of Lake City; his children, Cathey DeVries (Rod) of St. Charles, IL, Terrie Stamper (Kevin) of Belvidere, IL and Charles S. "Chuck" Griffith, Jr. (Luci) of Naples, FL; his sister Sue Ann Hicks of West Virginia; his siblings-in-law, Susan Hughes, Rita Miller and Bob Hellquist; his grandchildren, Kyle, Kayla, Corey, Nicole, Alyssa, Kylie, Sammy, Laina and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Mason, Madison and Kate; and his close friends, Jackson, Patty Koon, Tim, Pam St. Amant and Dan Howard.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel (3596 US-441, Lake City, FL 32025). The military honors was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at the same location.
