It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Richard Stevens of Lake City, Florida, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Don Richard Stevens to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Howard Stevens, Sr. and Blondina Marie Weatherd Stevens; and his brother Brantley "Brant" Stevens. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Welch Stevens; his children, Don Chauncey "Chip" Stevens (Michaela), Alex Kyle Stevens (Kaylie) and Casey Lyn Hampson (Cam); his siblings, A. H. Stevens (Carol), Patti Rae Bielling (Reggie) and Lisa Anne Brinkley (Darryl); his grandchildren, Kennedy Michelle Stevens and Alex Kallen Stevens; and his sister-in-law Jerri Stevens. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong classmates and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church of Lake City (973 S Marion Ave, Lake City, FL 32025). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
