He is survived by: his children, Karrie Smith (Greg), Gary Hillhouse II, Fae Ross (Jason), Rae Thompson (Chris), Kae Bailey (Jason) and Shae Moultrie (John); his grandchildren, Jadon Smith (Kara), Jonathan Smith, Madison Smith, Malaki Hillhouse, Kale Hillhouse, Emma Ross, Parker Ross, Spencer Ross, Daisy Thompson, Langston Partin and Danny Partin; and his great grandchildren, Jadon Alvan Smith, Jr. and Bennet Hendrix. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel (3596 US-441, Lake City, FL 32025).
