He was predeceased by : his parents, Fess Daugherty and Pauline McKinney Daugherty; his sons, George Allen Daugherty and James Merrill Daugherty; his grandchildren, Kevin Daugherty, Tessa Lee Daugherty and Jasmine Lee Daugherty; and his sisters, Barbara Ann Reppert, Geraldine Dassinger, Betty Hunt and Hazel Sweet.
He is survived by : his wife Brenda Gail Daugherty of Lake City; his sons, Raymond Daugherty of Lake City and Rodney Daugherty (Julie) of Monticello, FL; his brothers, Donald Lee Daugherty (Shirley) of Lake City and Danny Daugherty (Debbie) of Lake City; and his grandchildren, Marcy Walters (Kevin) of Lake City, Cory Daugherty (Della) of Jacksonville and Brian Daugherty of Lake City.
