It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane E Lucas of Lake City, Florida, born in Colton, New York, who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Moore and Ruth Rodwell; her husband Lawrence Lucas; her siblings, Gloria Thomas, Eva Gallup and Leland Moore; and her sons, Michael and Matthew Lucas.

She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Lucas (Marcia) and Thomas Lucas; and her sister Doris Preston. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jane's honor to Haven-Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center.
