It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Newton Heeke of Lake City, Florida, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her husband Robert Heeke; and her children, Richard Heeke (Barbara), Robert Heeke (Janet), Timothy Heeke (Jodi), Michael Heeke (Dawn), Donald Heeke (Robin) and Rebecca Heeke Gomez. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the local VITAS Hospice of Nature Coast through VITAS Community Connection.
