He was predeceased by : his parents, Carmelo Rivera and Guillermina Nieves. He is survived by : his wife Aida Rivera; his children, Brizaida Montanez, Maria Collins, Yolanda Nogueras, Juan Rivera Jr. and Jose Rivera; his grandchildren, Luis Rivera, Christopher Rivera, Justin Rivera, Brittany Rivera, Lyzeveli Ortiz, Myraiza Lopez, Allyssia Rivera, Julian Rivera, Alexandria Rivera, Marquis Collins, Tyree Collins, Eric Collins, Michael Torres, Elizabeth Nogueras, Sebastian Nogueras, Gabriela Nogueras, Victoria Nogueras and Tiffany Nogueras; and his siblings, Benjamin Rivera and Isabel Rivera. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
