He was predeceased by: his child Robin Dicks; and his siblings, Golde Dicks Markham, Clarence Dicks, Tribble Dicks, Emerald Dicks Stewart, Opal Dicks Rogers, Fay Dicks Gay and Rodney Dicks.

He is survived by: his children, Brad, Suzanne Davis (Jay) of Lake City, Bradley N. Dicks (Susanna) of Lake City and Andrew J. Dicks of Lake City; his grandchildren, Brandon Mason, Brent Mason, Ashley Adams, David Adams, Shanna Adams, Sarah Dicks, John Dicks and Aaron Dicks; his great grandchildren, Kaleb Adams, Brynlee Winn and William Wood, Jr.; his significant other Beadie Dicks; and the mother of his children Julia Dicks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
