With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mabel Quiette Young Loch of Lake City, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2026 at the age of 100. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Quiette and Pearl Futch; her husband John Loch; and her son Lawrence Michael Young. She is survived by: her children, David G. Young III (Martha) of Easley, NC, Mary Humphrey (Dave) of Rockledge, FL, Sarah Pearson (Michael) of Tallahassee, FL, Margaret Lizotte (Roger), Therese Young (Richey DePoyster), Joan Sage (Chuck), Angela Smith (Doug), Paul Young, Stephen Young (Mae) and Stanley Young (Tammy); and her stepchildren, Michael Loch of Lake City, Carol Poarch of Lake City and Heather Neville of Lake City. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and one sister-in-law.
