He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Register and Mae Clayton Register; and his siblings, Jimmy Register and Betty Clayton. He is survived by: his children, James "Booger" Register of Lake City, FL, Richard "Ritchie" Raymond Register, Jr., Shelia Hall (Larry) and Jeanette Young (Doug); his close friend Cathy Dobbs of Lake City, FL.; Joyce Tyre of Lake City, FL. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. And a host of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home (3596 US-441, Lake City, FL 32025). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel (3596 US-441, Lake City, FL 32025). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Memorial Cemetery.
