He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Garner and Gloria Garner. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Ruth Bagwell Garner; his children, Cynthia Shaw (Phillip) and Charles "Chip" Garner (Holly); his grandchildren, Kirsten Garner, Max Garner, Caycee Shaw and Zachary Shaw; and his brother William Garner (Ann). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice, including organizations for Youth diabetes, Parkinson's disease, or Haven Hospice of Lake City.
