He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alford Mier and Lilias Radinsky Mier; and his brother Robert A. Mier. He is survived by: his wife Martha; his sons, Brian Alan Mier of Hodgenville, KY and Kenneth Andrew Mier (Lourdes) of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Brittany Mier Fain of Hodgenville, KY, Megan Mier of Hodgenville, KY, Jesse Mier of Hodgenville, KY, Katie Mier and Nathan Mier of Birmingham, AL.; his great grandchild Alyssa Cochran; and his brother John Alford Mier II of Stuart, FL.
