He is survived by : his wife Barbara Ward Anderson; his daughter Kimberly Anderson Morris (Rob); his grandchildren, Logan, Jordan, Dalton Morris and Racquel Morris Perry; his son William Randal Anderson, Jr. (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Amanda Johnson, Jessica Brooks, William Anderson, III, Alyssa Cappadony and Felicity Anderson; and his sisters, Sharon Musgrove and Betty Jean Brinkley.
