He is survived by: his wife Sheba; his children, Christopher Lynn Goodwin (Danielle), Casey Gerald Goodwin (Melinda) and Ami Johnson Brewer (Anthony); his grandchildren, Christina, Caleb, Sarah, Dalayna, Carissa, Jacob, Brianna, Xander, Hannah, Addison and Isabella; and his brothers, John Goodwin (Rita), Larry Goodwin (Linda) and Jerry Goodwin (Susan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
