The memory of Alex Basso of Lake Helen, Florida, born in Deland, Florida, who passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 41, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He is survived by: his parents, Richard Basso and Kathie Basso; his siblings, Melissa Costa and Rick Jr. Basso; his siblings-in-law, Steve Costa and Chenin Basso; his siblings' children, Ava Scott, Finn Basso, Sydney and Jack Costa; his godson Sawyer Davis; and his girlfriend Haley Goebel. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Granville Farms (954 N Prevatt Ave, Lake Helen, FL 32744).
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Dad Strong of DeLand, or the donation of an unwrapped toy donation for a toy drive in Alex's memory.
