Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He is survived by: his former wife Margie Denston Underwood; his wife Rebecca Abeling (Richard); his daughters, Shirley Denston, Kathryn Beers and Connie Hollingsworth; and his granddaughters, Ashley Abeling, Laura Smith (Amanda) and Amy Uppercue (Craig).
In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to Stetson Baptist Church's building fund, work that was close to Bill's heart.
