It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Johnston (Lake Placid, Florida), born in Auburn, New York, who passed away on May 17, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Mary Ann (Lusk) and John Johnston; his sister Ellie; his wife Iona; his sons, James (Susan) of Greece, NY, Kenneth (Susan) of New Market, MD and Thomas (Judith) of Middlebury, CT; and his stepchildren, Sharon McEnroe (Ray), Joy Rupert and Kirk Noetzel (Karen). He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
