She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivian Marcell Mullinex Compton and Everett Compton; her husbands, Walter F Irey and James B Gurganious; her son Louis Lawrence Berg III (Larry); and her stepdaughter Julie Gurganious.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Colon, William Berg, Michael Irey and Jay Gurganious. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
