It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie Powers of Lake Placid, Florida, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lucille Phillips (Halpin) and Frank Phillips; her husband William "Bill" Powers; and her son Robert M. Powers. She is survived by : her children, Bonnie Taylor and William "Bill" Powers. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
