He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Adams (Shannon) and John Adams. He is survived by: his wife Voneta; his daughter Paula Eartly; his stepchildren, Joni Hornaday, Rene Watkins, Rita Thuornburg and John Shockley; and his sister Elanda Poff. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
