He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Mary (Suchey) and Robert Guerdon Gootee; his former wife Kathleen Gootee; and his grandson Monty. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Laura Kay Gootee, Marcia Nichole Robinson (Bryon), Deborah Sue Gootee, William W. Hall, Jamela Paulus and Tracy Hardman (Amy); his grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Ashley, David, Heather, Brandon and Victoria; and his brother Guerdon S. Gootee. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
