We bid farewell to Ronald Austin Colwell of Lake Placid, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 12, 2025 at the age of 77. Ronald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Ronald's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Ronald has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruth Emma (Austin) and John Roy Colwell; his son Ryan Colwell (Allison); his grandchildren, Owen and Adaline; his siblings, Linda Currier and Tom Colwell; his former wife Kathy Colwell; and his close friend Dale Sturtevant. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the South China Community Church (246 Village St, South China, ME 04358).
