He was predeceased by: his parents, William Garty and Earlene Kaplan; his brother William Garty; and his sister-in-law Pam Garty. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Garty; his daughters, Brandie Aderholt of Lake Wales and Kellie Alexander (Chris VanCleve) of Davenport; his siblings, Kathleen Humphries of Michigan, Thomas Garty (Pam) of Pennsylvania, David Garty (Lynn) of Indiana and Danny Garty (Mia) of California; and his grandchildren, Justin, Lindsay, Breanne, Trenton, Nathan and Nolan. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
