He was predeceased by: his parents, Deeley A. Hunt and Louise E. Hunt; his wife Nancy Hunt; his daughter Liz Hunt; his grandson Carson White; and his brothers, Deeley A. Hunt, Jr. and Frank M. Hunt II.
He is survived by: his children, Ellis Hunt, Jr. (Debbie) of Babson Park, Deeley Hunt (Adam) of Clearwater Beach, Barbara Daines (Will) of Tampa, Ginger Henry (Brad) of Minneola and Helene Valdes (Chris) of Orlando. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales (16 N 3rd St, Lake Wales, FL 33853).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ellis's honor may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales.
