Ilene Messler Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 21, 2026, at the age of 82, Ilene Messler (Lake Wales, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Sanders and Roderick Sanders; her husband Alfred E. Messler; and her siblings, Darlene Murphy, Bill Sanders and Rod Sanders.
She is survived by: her son Joe Messler (Kristin); her stepchildren, Billy Mascaro (Kitty) and Tonya Rich-Cummins (Steve); her grandchildren, Chelsa (Ron), Kole (Dallas), Kailyn (Shelby), Jayce, Kelly, Joey, Jake, Matt, Kierstin, Makenna, Ethan, Owen and Ella; her great-nieces, Ella and Delaney; Mickie Recker (Jeff) and Kim Pond. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted in her memory at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
